Utila is located in the Bay Islands of Honduras, in the Western Caribbean.
The best way to get to Utila is to fly into Roatan (RTB) and take the daily ferry (one hour trip) Utila-bound. If the ferry schedules do not align with your travel itinerary, we would be happy to recommend a few local flight charter options.
Utila is a great travel destination year-round. Our favorite season is late February-May. Rainy season is from late November-February (but dive conditions are still great).
Yes. We offer private scuba instruction and it can easily be integrated as part of your all-inclusive, week-long trip or you can book private Instruction.
We can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests.
Yes. We can meet our guests in one of our sister islands and operate from there (customized trips only).
We usually see different species of dolphin (Bottlenose, Rough-toothed, Spinners), Whalesharks, and other big game such as pilot whales. We typically encounter these during surface intervals and fishing charters. Snorkeling is permitted with big-game wildlife.
Yes, for scuba diving. We require all divers to show proof of scuba diving incident insurance.
We recommend Tuk Tuks (Taxi) as the main form of transportation.
You can also rent an ATV or golf cart locally during your stay.
It depends on which country you are visiting from, and regulations are subject to change. We recommend checking with your local travel agency / government offices to see what requirements you need to enter the country.
